The Global Citizen Therapy Podcast

Feb 14, 2023

Tune in to this week's episode as I share with you the highs, lows, and lessons learned on my recent 2 month trip abroad. As a first-gen Latina therapist, I know I spent many years wondering how to travel the world. In just two short months, I found myself covering 3 different countries and having so many adventures along the way! I share with you the crazy stories of how I got stuck in the Auckland floods, had my car stolen in Rotorua, and ended up without power or cash in Thailand. None of these things were on my travel checklist but I share the challenges of my travels because life is more than just a highlight reel you see on social media. It comes with difficulties which as a therapist I know can often also be traumatic experiences. So in this solo episode, I dive into all of the things I learned while on this eventful trip and I hope you'll come along with me on this ride. As always, I'm here to be open, honest, and vulnerable with you in hopes it'll help others.
